Game clips
A coach films; one family receives it. Nothing here is published, nothing is indexed, and every clip deletes itself after 30 days.
Who films, and who they may film
A coach uses the app to record short clips during a game and tags each one to a single player on their own roster. Before any footage can be uploaded, the coach has to confirm in writing that they have the families’ permission to film these players and share the clips with their parents. Until they do, the app refuses every upload.
A parent with an account can turn filming off for their own child at any time, from their page settings. That switch overrides the coach’s confirmation everywhere: the coach’s roster screen stops offering that child, the server refuses uploads for them, and anything already filmed but not yet sent is deleted immediately.
Who receives a clip
The parent or guardian on that player’s roster entry, and nobody else. Each family gets a private link covering their own child only. No other parent, no other coach, and no other player can reach it.
Opening the link needs no account and no password — the link itself is the permission, which is why it is long, random, and sent to one address.
What is never done with a clip
- It is never added to a player’s public page.
- It is never indexed by a search engine. The page carries a no-index header.
- It is never shown to another family, another coach, or another team.
- It is never used to train anything, and never sold or shared with advertisers.
When it is deleted
30days after it is sent, automatically. The date is fixed when the coach presses Send, shown on the parent’s page and stated in the email, and a nightly job deletes both the video file and the record of it. This happens whether or not anyone ever opens the link.
Deleting it sooner
Every clip page carries a Delete these clips now button. Pressing it kills the link immediately and removes the video within a day. It needs no account, because the family receiving the clips may not have one.
A coach can also pull back anything they sent, from their own roster page.
Who to ask
Questions about why your child was filmed go to the coach who filmed them — they are the person who obtained permission, and this product is not a party to that agreement. Anything about how the footage is stored, sent, or deleted: [email protected].
